War of the Weirds is the 19th (38 overall) episode of Baby Looney Tunes.

Plot

"That's the fun of making a new friend. Sometimes you'll discover that what's outside is different from what's inside." (Granny on Lola and Daffy's reluctance on befriending Marvin for being "weird".)

Marvin pays a visit to the babies, but he was gossiped and shunned by the babies except for Taz.

Granny encourages the babies to befriend Marvin, but the babies except for Taz are reluctant to befriend him. Insecure of Marvin's presence, the babies gossip and play tricks at him.

Only Taz has the courage to befriend Marvin. As soon as he helps Marvin proved his worth, the other babies feel guilty and start to befriend him and make him feel welcome.

Summary

The babies (Bugs, Lola, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy, and Taz), excited on a visitor coming to Granny's house, are digging on the pit at the sandbox. Marvin, the visitor, suddenly appears above the sandbox and Bugs shakes at the feeling of being watched. The other babies were shocked at his presence.

Bugs tries to greet Marvin; Marvin feels uncomfortable and he fidgets on his feet and fingers. While the babies have doubts at Marvin's sudden presence, Taz jumps out of the pit and shakes hands with Marvin. Marvin feels shocked at Taz's handshake, flinches his hand from Taz, mumbles, and gets shy. The babies on the pit wonder why Marvin isn't able to talk.

Insecure of Marvin's presence, the babies continue digging as if Marvin is no longer there. Daffy discusses his plans and Marvin suddenly jumps on the pit. Marvin wants to dig the pit like the other babies, but he was met by resistance from other babies. The babies left the pit and left Marvin alone.

Back at Granny's house, Bugs alerted Granny on a "strange kid" in the sandbox. Granny tells the baby the the "strange kid" visiting her house is Marvin and reminds the babies to befriend Marvin as they are new to him.

The babies and Marvin go inside and Bugs introduces to their playroom. Asked by Bugs about their playroom, Marvin feels unsure, mumbles, and fidgets on his fingers. Sylvester hands over his car with missing wheels and Marvin keeps it inside his body. Lola throws a ball to Marvin, and Marvin also keeps it inside his body.

As Marvin stares at Bugs' rocket, he quickly runs and holds the rocket. Bugs grabs the rocket from Marvin, throws it away, and accidentally crushes the rocket; he angrily blames Marvin for breaking the rocket. Marvin mumbles and shakes his head. Taz reminded Bugs that Marvin did not break the rocket; however, a visibly angry Bugs was not convinced.

The babies then carry out a plot against Marvin before he "wrecks their stuff". They go outside and introduce Marvin to a "game" called "hide-and-don't-seek". Marvin hides on the tree and the babies run back inside. Taz goes out and finds Marvin, only to find Marvin crying at the other babies playing tricks and laughing at him. Shocked, Taz comforts Marvin and seeks to befriend him; Marvin, still crying, nods at Taz.

The babies gossip on Marvin. Later, Lola and Daffy find out that their broken toys were gone. Tweety calls the babies and they see Taz and Marvin playing on the slide. As the babies go outside, Bugs suspiciously asked Taz what he is doing. Daffy told Taz that he can't play with Marvin because he's weird. Taz told Daffy that Marvin helped fixed their toys. The babies were surprised that their toys were fixed, but Bugs was not convinced. So, he gets his broken rocket to prove that Marvin can fix their toys and throws it at Marvin. Bugs thinks Marvin wasn't doing anything, but Taz told him that Marvin was thinking on how to fix the rocket. Marvin gets the rocket, fixes it using his hands, and hands over the rocket to Bugs. The babies were amazed by Marvin fixing the rocket, and Bugs offers Marvin to play his rocket. Marvin told Bugs "okay" and Bugs was in disbelief that Marvin can talk. Daffy asks why Marvin didn't talk to them, but Taz told them that Marvin doesn't know them. Bugs realizes that Taz was right and the other babies feel guilty for being unfriendly to Marvin.

Then, Taz introduces the babies to Marvin and Marvin shakes hands with Bugs. The babies dig again on the pit, with Marvin joining them.

Lesson

The babies learn to befriend Marvin despite his "weird" appearance and odd behavior.
